As the mushroom trip came on the other kiddies ran from the normally docile bull. Timmy however, all whacked out and invincible on P, was convinced the beast was but an hallucination or phantasm, and tried to prove it by flapping his red 'safe tripping stick.'
Search and Rescue found his tattered corpse three days later.

The other children screamed and ran when Danny challenged the bull with an umbrella, so they didn't see what happened. All they ever knew was that they came back an hour later, Danny was covered in blood, and the bull was in so many pieces they never did find them all.
